I am passionate about

I am passionate by social and sustainable development aware about their contribution to make better life and sustain our future. I know that even if sustainability is nowadays very important to ensure we don’t have to forget that fighting poverty is the most thing we have to ensure in our world in a changing climate. I like debating about these issues because by debating with my people I can involve them in development issues in their communities. I decided to involved myself in the civil society work when I was 15 in order to encourage people to be positive leaders in their own lives. My approach is a peer-to-peer learning mobilizing networks working with youth and helping them to interact and learn from each other. By working with my community on environmental education, sustainable development, and poverty issue I l am learning step by step to be a strong positive change maker with many abilities and capacities. Today I believe in the capacity of my commitment for that. That is why I am passionate about development and human livelihoods better conditions, and involved myself in the social sector with my peers around the world.

My Projects

“Youth to Stop Trashing Beaches” is a call to action project aimed at bringing youth to become green when using ocean resources through a clean-up campaign along beaches. This activity serves to sensitize the whole community and remove all wastes and trashes in my local community. Activities are mobilization of youth as main actors around the project; advertisement of educative materials like posters, drawings, photos and our voices to share our message; sensitization and education of people with creative slogans; a youth focused training session and educative talk to transform them into as agents of change to spread the word; trees planting and an award to recognize the Best Green Leaders among youth. “Making Your Room Green for the Planet“ aimed at raising awareness among students of the university of Yaounde about the necessity to adopt responsible green attitudes when using water and electricity resources in their rooms. The project is a green campaign inside the campus and brings sensitization and education of the university community especially campus inhabitants. This campaign make students knew the dramatic relation between wasting of natural resources and climate change as well as lack of water and energy access in Cameroon and around the world.
