Youth Convention, GICC, 3rd – 4th Nov 2011,Gaborone Botswana
i will be attending a Youth Convention held at Gaborone International Convention Centre from 3rd- 4th November. This is my chance to read my “Life As a One Young World Ambassador” speech to a diverse audience of young people from different social perspectives.

The youth convention sounds great! Do you mind elaborating what it all about? Things to be discussed, speakers, delegates etc that sort of stuff. Perhaps there is also a facebook page for the organization that is hosting it…a twitter hashtag??

The convention’s mandate is to bring together the youths from various organizations.I’m sure you’ve heard of AISEC…very much related to OYW. This is to encourage affiliation with Botswana National Youth Council which is the mother-body of all youth orgs here. The scope of the convention has no been restricted to any particular issue, thus giving me an opportunity to bring OYW closer to the youths in Botswana. I expect to see representatives from various youth organizations so we can realign our objectives through an all inclusive road-map. I would also use this event as a covert operation to recruit other young people for OYW. I have plans to establish a well organized OYW-Botswana support base..
Keep that inquisitive mindset..”everywhere you go”..LOL
