Wake Up Call-Canada

One Young World is a game-changer, the place where tomorrow’s leaders take action to create the world they want. In 2011, One Young World has launched a global movement: Wake Up Call. Hundreds of youth delegates are calling upon government, business, and other leadership to address major problems with innovative solutions. Imagine a peaceful, collaborative movement for global change with a clear message. We, Canadian youth, have decided to give a Wake Up Call to the oil industry and raise awareness about climate change. We invite you to join us in uniting under one goal, one idea, one statement on one day: 21.2.12 (February 21, 2012). Here is our Wake Up Call in Canada: “To Peter Kent, the Minister of Environment of Canada, we request that a transparent and accountable discussion panel be established to further improve the sustainability of the tar sands, by three months from today. Are you ready to organize a Show Up (physical action), Call Up (phone campaign) or Type Up (virtual message) on February 21st to help us reach this goal? Get others involved, spread the word, join the movement, and Wake Up our world! We look forward to hearing from you.

I want to share my unreasonable ideas because…

We always do something because of a reason we should think about reasons deeply.I was born and grew up in the Islamic Republic of Iran I had a chance to see the people especially the lots of different religious people I have learned there is no reason to judge people because of their religion or their generation. In this big world you need a reason for doing something but it is not happening every single second sometime you do not need a reason you are breathing because you need to reason for stopping it. I would like to help people and being activist because there is no reason for stopping it even It may seem impossible at first though, but that is why I applied for OYW summit.

My first idea is “help to refugees by their skills and ability” I will explain more in the next passage for sure it is just an idea and I need your helps

I was so glad to represent my country and be one of the flag bearers although Iranians cannot get Schengen visa easily and I lost this chance because of my nationality it made me more interested to be humanity activist hopefully I will be able to change the negative attitude  toward my nationality even if the whole of world say me “stop, you cannot do this” I will continue my way I do not believe my destiny has been written before my birth my life story can be write by myself.

if  MTN did not sponsor me  I’ve never though I can be there one day thank you MTN for giving me this huge opportunity.
