A youth entrepreneurship initiative by myself, a One Young World- Botswana Ambassador. YAB intends to bridge a gap between the youth and the corporate world by bringing corporate leader’s attention to young people’s ambitions for business ventures. I believe this has to start now,so that in the future,a lot of ground has been covered instead of waiting for the future. YAB intends to hold monthly conventions to bring these ambitious young people together to discuss their business ideas, projects and aspirations. This intends to create a cohesive environment with the corporate world as CEOs, MDs and many company leaders would be invited to map a way forward. This initiative also leans businesses to establish and realise their goals regarding Social Corporate Responsibility. CSR is important for the community businesses are operating in as its a way of giving back. YAB there has a long term objective of cultivating this thinking in young business giants at an early age so they grow with it. CSR is an obligation to all companies and this importance should be made known to the people. YAB intends to assume that role;to teach and mentor the young for the benefit of the whole nation.
